Ordering parts
Good after noon all
So after i stripped the bike, i went out and bought two other bikes,
on the way home from work i stopped at this raod side flea market that had everything, and that day they had two road bikes on the lot. Eariler that month i sold my old road bike to a friend so she could do a triathalon, so i was in need of a raod bike
i stopped and found two, one that would fit and the other that i could use for parts, and i bought them for 20 bucks. then i went home and started repairs on them, i ordered a new saddle, new leavers for the breaks and new cables with some break pads as well.
when all was said and done i had a raod bike as fast as the wind, parts to repair it when ineeded and some parts that i could use for the ghetto cog. in the end i used a raod stem for the ghetto cog.
and i also used an extra set of pads for the breaks on the gheto cog as well!
so then i decided it was time to order some more parts
i got some grips and then i added my DH riser bars to the cog, and started to remount stuff, i used some old cable to line up the breaks and started to try and refit the wheel!
the gheto cog was on its start to becomming a bike again, and not just a frame on the stand.
next i will talk about remounting the rear wheel, making the mono cog, and getting the kit to turn a 8 speed into a single speed and why we need to remember to wear as much armor as we can when i first ride the ghetto!
later all and remember
ride safe
ride hard
