Worthy of new parts?

so here is my delima
well not really
so here it is

tomorrow im going to the littleton bikeshop to get a new front wheel, new grips and maybe new breaks for the ghetto
also a saddle and seatpost
so i guess it wont be soooooo ghetto after all, but still she is a missfit!
so anyways
i sid i was going to teach you how to make a old derailer into a chain stay
super ghetto???..... yes it is

so here ya go, ther are two springs in a derailer, what you have to do is take the derailer apart and let the sping tension off, when you do that and lit it go, when you put it backtogether and run the tension in the other direction you can now use it to tension the chain in the oppsit direction

use the adjust ment screws to make it leavel out and straighten out and then there ya go it canhold the chain tight.

does it work you aks/..... yes.... is it ghetto, super yes
is it worth it.... no
go spend the 12 bucks tog et a chain tensioner that is better
but if you are ina tight spot
there ya go
